Overview:
If you are new to Environmental Management Sytems, or have recently started as an Environmental Manager, this two day course will help you to become more effective and efficient in your role.
Aims:
This two day course takes an in-depth look at what is environmental management, the legislation surrounding it, and how businesses manage their environmental management systems. You will cover the elements of change within the 2015 standard, and a review of the ISO 14001 clause requirements. There is time on day two to work in syndicates to plan, present back and discuss your environmental management audit plans to the group.

Objectives:
By the end of this course you will be able to:
~ State what is meant by the environment
~ List the environmental management legislation surrounding ISO 14001

~ Describe the principles of quality management and explain the role of an Quality Management Manager
~ Interpret the ISO 14001 clause requirements and review the performance of an environmental audit
~ Describe how you will manage external influences like legislation and supply chain management
~ Construct a quality audit using an internal audit checklist and plan, and report on the findings
